Pirate Skies OOC

gonna start the OOC for now, I almost have the introduction post planed out, so I expect to fiinish it by monday.

also I decided on Pirate Skies as the title since I'm not preaty sure in where I'm taking the RP

general Info:
the planets name is Arcadia and is surrounded by 6 moons each with the power of an element which affect the nations that are under each one ( each moon is only visible from their respective part of the world):

to cast magic one most have a special moon stone for them to channel their energy, they all have 2 sides Offensive/healing and buff/de-buff.

We begin in the nation under the silver moon, our village name is Celestes, neutral territory where no big nation is located. We will have our own HQ for stashing our loot in the rocky reefs near the main desert of Nasr, even though it is far away from uor little town, best be prepare for the unexpected. there are various forgotten temples and a few villages. We will begin small, no Giant boats or amazing weapons, also our island is mostly woods execpt for the village area and a small dock( big enough for our boat), as the story progresses we will expand and had some other things(this will remain a mystery for you ). The only nations that will be available for travel are Valua(yellow moon) and Nasr (Red moon)

Again there are 2 types of pirates:
Black Pirates- the hated kind, they robbed from anyone and show no mercy to anyone that crosses their path.

Blue Rogues- Pirates kinda like Robin Hood (steal from the rich, but keep it for themself and village expenses). Well recived on neaytral villages and docks. Only steal from the Empire (Valua) and Black Pirates.

we will be Blue Rouges, though if you think we should be Black Pirates please PM to discuss (though I'll doubt you can change my mind)ok shesh black pirates....

Info on available Nations:
Valua
Nation better known as the Empire, this is the most powerful nation in the skies, having the biggest population, biggest army, and better technology they spread fear to anyone, even their own people. The current leader, Empress Theodora, is one of the worst up to date, rumors has it that she has plans on conquest, yet no movement has been seen to indicate this.At the top of the army there are 5 general(which will remain a mystery for now...) each one having a different especialty. Their culture is the same as Ancient Europe, having a High class and lower class, no middle class.

Nasr
Desert nation that had a war with Valua a 100 years ago, after much struggle a peace treaty was signed that has been preserve to this very day. Not as powerful as Valua, but they do sure pack a punch. The main desert of Nasr is blocked by a rock reef which is impossible to pass with any normal ship (though Nasr is not located in this desert). Their culture is kinda of a mix between Arabs and Egyptians.

A favor to ask:
well everyone knows that every pirate has their flag, so if anyone can make a flag it would be appreciated *cough*Uber*cough*, remember that we are not the 'evil' kind of pirates so nothing too scary.

finaly the character sheet(making more than one is very much welcomed):
first you must choose your class which consist of:
Helmsman:role steer ship.(positions 1)
Gunner: role command the cannons (others can aid in this)(positions:maximun of 2)
Engeneer:role keep the boat on top condition and upgrade it(aided by the builder)(position 1)
Builder:role mostly build things from scrap.(positions 2)
Lookout:role.... err Lookout (taken by grif)
Raider:role the first one when raiding enemy ships, combat expert.(taken by grif, sora(if he comes back))

weapon:(try and be creative:ie, two sided lance, giant boomerang, etc... but nothing futuristic, old guns will be accepted)

again you don't have to be such a blood thirsty pirate, try for something more casual.

agghh, this took WAY too much of my time, but I think that about covers it(oh wait rules.... crap I'll do them later...).

ok do to the RP will take some time to start up since I can't find a freacking way to start it, just start sending the CS for now(again more than one is more than welcomed.)

WOW that is a long post I'm sad we don't get to be Black pirate, but I can deal with it... I'll get my Sheet to you sometime eventually.

I just figured that if we become black pirates there would be no were to dock as in everyone is going to hate us, so everytime we go to a port no one would like our precence.

Which would be fun to RP, no?

I think its called...storm every fricken port there is...and loot/pillage/massacre everything possible...

wait... if you all want to change to black pirates we can talk about it, but remember that the RP will just get repetitive, arrive at random port storm, no real challenge.... being everything a fight and no real story other than to fight, but if you guys really want to I can change it.....

I've said black pirates for two main reasons as to how it will effect the RP:

At sea
It will make us spend a lot of our time at sea, since ports would be dangerous, in harsh conditions trying to find a port ect which could be a fun survival-type thing.

On land
Yeah, we could storm the ports, but only if we were dumb. Storming the ports would be a big risk, any well prepeared fighters could be picking off members of our crew. It would be more likely that we'd be playing it as a stealth game most of the time we were on land, trying to not let anyone know we were black pirates and getting supplys.

I like the idea of these two points which is what makes me want to try the black pirates.

I was actually thinking about the stealth thing as well...but we would still demolish some towns........sometimes

Heck yeah! Stealth would be fun... but once or twice we might do a repetition of Megaton, right?

Oh alright.... but the RP will take sometime to be remade, renamed, etc.... so you guys will just have to wait a little longer....

Also, Griff. Megaton is a town in Fallout 3 built around a giant nuke. One of the evil missions involves you arming it and watching it go up in a mushroom cloud from a distance.

How many times did I replay that mission?

well, I changed a couple of things... start sending the Character sheets, the RP begins..... I don't know yet, but soon

ok sorry I haven't started this but I have had a few complications in the past couples of days (sick, uni stuff, power going out for a f-ing lot of time), and probably the next are going to be the same, tomorow I need to go buy my cloths for graduation and have to go to my friends place so my mom can met his mom for a trip we are doing (over protective much... cellphone hello... ), monday I probably won't do much but tusday have to go get a haircut and graduation and wensday I leaving in the night for the short trip and should be back on friday.... so next weekend I'll start working on the main RP thread... sorry guys... here is a pirate smilie to keep you company
