Ares VII "Get your zombeh slayin' face on!"

A Cargo ship destined for earth carrying a dangerous weapon of mass destruction within one of its holds has been ambushed by maurading aliens. Midway through the attack the aliens retreated leaving many wounded on the ship, both of thier kind and that of human flesh. An intergalactic parisite had struck the alien crew and has now been passed through bodily fluids to the wounded humans, few survived the attack without being infected. Some of these survivors were lucky to be in the sustinence store room when the attackers struck, the room had been sealed off by wrekage, allowing those inside to avoid death and infection. Soon they would be discovered by the infected, then they will have to fight to survive.

"so is that vent our only option, i am not being so sure that your vent is large or study enough for Dimitri", Nikolia smilled, ribbing the man that he respected so much and who had given him his chance to build his life anew with his job on this ship.

Arclight had been quietly muttering and fidgeting in the corner, tinkering with whatever mechanics he could get his hands on. As the other two came back into the locked room, he approached the butler. "What do you mean hostile humans? Did you see any of them clearly? Were any of them missing limbs? Oh please tell me you weren't bitten!" He walked away, fingering his over-large welder (it had a powerful flamethrower attachment that he'd only been allowed to keep for 'pest control' and because the head mechanic trusted him... that poor, deluded fool).

He began pacing. "It has all the signs, follows every stereotype. We might all die, or we might make it. If it's really true, the losses will be catastrophic! We can't let this ship touch down on any populated area." Facing the group, and seeming to notice them for the first time, he stood erect. "One thing's for sure. If what's happening out there is what I think is happening out there, there's no way in hell we're going to be able to wait it out in this room."

Nikolia looked at the door and noticed the same familiar bolts screwed as supports to the doors framework at each corner, "hamster vill make short work ov these" he smiled, knocking the bolts out in seconds and hitting the door with hamster to demonstate its newfound instability, "dat is how i got to be a mechanic, i am good at my job"
